Week Eighteen of School

On some days, the weather is too cold to head outside...

...so we stay indoors for "inclement" recess.

The children choose to draw, read, build things with toys...

...or play this fun board version of...

...hockey!

Creating bar graphs with our faces!

When the weather permits...

...we do head outdoors...

...for some good physical education...

...fun.

It's amazing...

...how a simple...

...single patch...

...of cleared ice...

...can led to...

so much fun!

Yup...

...we love sliding...

...under controlled conditions.

Everyone show respect...

...as they each wait their turn...

...as a caring classmate!

As soon as we complete our slide...

...we get off quickly...

...to allow the next classmate...

...to take their turn.

So much fun...

...and exercise...

...and friendship too.

They are all in agreement...

...that living in...

...Canada...

...with its varied weather...

...across all four seasons...

...makes for lots of fun...

...all the year round.

It's fun for Mr. Hamer...

...to snap pictures of the action...

...in order to share...

...with all of our families.

The smiles tell it all.

We are avid mountain climbers as well.

We can always find a path up...

...and a way to slide down.

Indeed...

...we are dressed...

...for the weather...

...as we love...

...to play together!

In the great outdoors...

...of our playground!

Recently we read a story...

...for a very special classmate...

...and we created a special "class book"...

..and she got to try out some chopsticks...

...like the little girl...

...from the story with her same name.

Our lovely little friend has moved into a new home in a nearby neighbourhood where she has now gone to attend a new school.  We will miss her so much!
