Week Twenty-Four of School

We have been learning about the oceans...

...and we've read some fabulous stories using ocean characters to teach valuable lifelong lessons.

Last Friday was "Backwards Day!"

Yes, we dressed in a backwards fashion.

Who's the pink one?

She is.

Backward shirts...

...worn by forward thinking girls.

The boys...

...got in on the action...

...as well.

True friends.

Stick together.

A true Sens fan.

Handsome lad.

Hard at work...

...at our desks.

Then we went to gym...

...where we learned about curling.

That rock is in the house.

The gentleman instructs the children...

...and they listen intently.

They learn about the house...

...and the button.

Rocks & Rings is sponsored by "Get Cracking"

Then it's time...

...to try out the game.

For each end...

...the blue and red teams...

...will take turns.

They learn how to throw the stones.

They are eager to try it out.

Great looking form.

She's almost ready!

Let her rip!

Great form as well.

They are having fun!

The end result!
Have a great evening everyone!

Week Twenty-Three of School

Earlier this month...

...we celebrated 100's Day!

Great students...

...with a great creation...

...from our straws.

Valentine's Day...

...last week...

...was exciting...

...in Grade Two.

Dressed in red.

Distributing...

...their...

...Valentines.

A terrific trio.

Thrills...

...spills...

...and way too much fun.

Red and pink...

...are the colours of the day.

Check out the hearts...

...and the plaid.

Too cool!

A great Valentine's gift from one of the boys.

Check out her doll's face...

...how it changed!  Hehehe!

It's...

...party time!

Too many treats!

Having fun...

...with our devices.

Lots of food.

Delicious.

A happy girl.

We have been learning...

...about...

...nouns and verbs!

This week we began a study of...

...multiplication.

We found out that a multiplication equation...

...is shorter than an addition one.

She likes to play teacher...

...and she's great at it!

Cool shirt!

Cooler kid!

Another cool shirt...

...from another cool kid...with his work on "r" blends!
Have a great rest of the week!
