Week Nineteen of School

We get out...

...our STEAM toys...

...and build incredible looking structures.

Some of our creations house...

...our little LOL dolls.

Some we turn into butterflies...

...or simply  pure fun dangling creations.

Yum yum!

STEAM toys offer creativity...

...joy...

...while problem-solving all at the same time!

The Slockey Boards come out again.

With great participation.

Girls...

...and boys have fun.  (This photo taken earlier in the month.)

Our chrome books offer time...

...for play...

...or research.

We learn to share.

We enjoy our time.

Still more fun things to play with.

Looking good girls!

Taking turns again.

Building upwards...

Looking down from above.

Master creations.

Stickle  bricks.

She shoots!

She scores!

We learn about patterns.

The children...

...enjoy solving patterns...

...in front of their classmates.

Another guitar...

...visits the class.

Looking good.

It's great to see our young people learning an instrument!

Outdoor fun...

...once again...

...with the crazy carpets...

...on the hill...

...in the park...

...across the street...

...on a nice winter's day.

Smiles...

...motion...

...posing...

...getting fresh air...

...and plenty of...

...exercise...

...as we have to walk back up the hill!

Off they go...

...down the hill.

Wee!  This is so much fun!

The trees that line the park.

Lots of smiles.

Snack time back in class.

Hard at work...

...in our groups...

...working on math.

Yummy!

She's proud...

...of her printing.

Eager listeners...

...as we get ready...

...to listen to a story.

Some fishy business...

...as we begin our unit on the oceans.

Oceans alive!

We've caught these fish for observation...

...but...rest assured...we will let them go free at the end of our unit!

Looking good.

Different fish designs.

We wonder...

...how they will turn out...

...as the children get down to work.

Some spelling fun.

Those fish are developing nicely.

She's done hers and the little fish is about to gobble the worm on the hook!

He got it!

Maybe not!

Colourful!

Our mural is developing...

...slowly...

...as more fish arrive on the scene.

Cool!

Some more chrome book fun.

In partners.

Love that creation!

More outdoor fun!

Grab your crazy carpet!

Another sunny day...

...finds us on the hill again...

...as we use gravity to travel downwards.

Then we walk back up again.

Check out our finished fish!  Amazing I say!
